So you want to make more money right? Well what are you doing about it?

Probably the best advice I can give to anyone that wants to earn more is to go out there and improve your education. Starting a business is great, but it requires risk and capital. For many of us, it’s just not an option, especially those of us with families to feed.

So the next best thing is to get educated, get a degree and then earn more money. Don’t believe me, well check out this quick statistic.

Research shows that college grads earned on average $51,500 per year, compared to a measly $28,600 for those that only had a college diploma. I don’t need to explain how significant those differences are. It is a huge difference and I personally didn’t think the gap would be that large.

Even if it cost you a fair amount of money to obtain a degree, you could would be able to pay that back in your first 1-2 years of working in a higher paid job. After that, you will continue to earn higher and the investment you made in your education will be exponential.

It’s not all about money. There is a great satisfaction that comes from education and it’s a lifelong asset that no one can ever take away from you. Degrees are also recognized worldwide, so it increases your chances to work overseas too.

So you have finished school and now what? Your parents probably want you to go straight to college right? Well it can be a pretty tough situation.

After finishing school, most of us don’t want to do even more years of study. In fact, some of us have bills to pay and we need to work full-time to get everything covered. But the opportunity cost of working is missing out on a degree and then having a lower income for the rest of your life.

It can be a very tricky situation, but there is a solution!

With online degrees, you have another choice. You can continue to study and still work at the same time. It’s actually better than going to a college part-time, because you don’t need to commute or waste time travelling. You can just get straight into the coursework whenever you have free time.

An online degree will be just as demanding work wise, but you get to skip all the filler. When you attend college there is a lot of downtime between lectures, classes, exam times etc. When working online, you can just hit the work straight away and get it done.

There are cost effective solutions too. An online degree can work out to be much cheaper than attending a traditional college. For this reason I would really recommend that you take a look at what is around. You can find courses covering pretty much anything. The stress level will be reduced because you can keep your job and still do the coursework. It will be hard work for a few years, but in the end you won’t regret it.

Consider online degrees, because they can help make your life easier and the rewards at the end will be great!
